In 1980, Beede Paving began as a New England based company. The work ethics that we started with are still the same today. "Don't leave a job until WE are completely satisfied." The majority of the time this goes above and beyond what the customer expects. Many of our customers have a very limited knowledge of what needs to go into the project to be considered a quality job, but that's ok because we do.
In 2000, we saw a need for a quality paving company in the Central Florida area. Before Blacktop by Beede Paving, Inc. was established here, the Central Florida community had to settle for a limited choice of paving companies and often got marginal quality work as a result. Blacktop by Beede Paving, Inc. wanted to change that. We take tremendous pride in our work, from the very smallest commercial project to the largest industrial endeavor.
Now, here we are in 2011 and we still have the greatest team in our industry. Each of our team is expected to do their very best, not just to satisfy our customers, but to satisfy themselves and uphold the Blacktop reputation.
We have done several projects over the years with many elite local companies in the Central Florida area, which include the Daytona International Speedway, Daytona Beach International Airport, Bethune Cookman University, Daytona State College and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as well as many other commercial and industrial projects.
It was a privilege for us in the 2010-2011 year for us to have a hand in the track repave at Daytona International Speedway. N.A.T.C. and D.I.S. allowed us to have a part in a monumental event being able to work with and alongside Lane Construction.
When I was a kid and visiting the museum, I remember seeing the pictures and video of how the track was originally built, the men working on it and the equipment used. Now, being able to be a part of history in the modern era and comparing how they did it in the days of old in the asphalt industry to today's technology is very impressive.
We still have a New England division located in Barre/Montpelier, Vermont. We are proud to say that we actually had our best year in 30 years in 2010 despite the economic conditions.
